Grilled Bread Machine Naan

1 package active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 Tbsp milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp salt
4 cups bread flour
2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 cup butter, melted

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand about 10 minutes. Add sugar, baking soda, milk, egg, salt, garlic, and flour. Set the bread machine to the dough setting and let it run through the cycle.

Separate dough into 14-16 pieces. Roll into balls. Cover with towel and allow to rise again for 30 minutes (optional).

Spray grill with cooking spray. Roll each ball of dough out into a thin circle. Place dough on grill, and brush uncooked side with melted butter. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until puffy and lightly browned. Flip, then brush cooked side with butter. Cook until browned, another 2 to 4 minutes. Remove from grill. Continue until all naan has been cooked.

Serves 14-16.
