Indian Spiced Fruit*

2 green apples, cored and chopped
1 red pear, cored and chopped
1 banana, sliced
1 can (15 ounces) apricots in syrup, drained
1 can (15 ounces) pitted black cherries, drained
1-inch gingerroot, grated or minced
The juice of 1 lemon
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon each ground nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and serve or chill.
