Full Meal Clam Chowder*

Prep time: 20 minutes

4 slices bacon, cut up before cooking
1 green onion, sliced thin
8 oz can cream-style corn
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can milk
1 raw potato, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
6 oz can minced clams and juice

In saucepan, on medium heat, cook bacon till almost crisp. Add onion. Cook 1 more minute. Carefully drain grease into an old can. (Discard grease later when solidified.)

In same pan, add rest of ingredients on medium heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Cook, stirring often, til potatoes are done (approximately 15 minutes).

Makes 2-3 servings.
