Buttermilk Biscuits*

In 1 1/2 quart mixing bowl beat together 2/3 cup real buttermilk and 1/3 cup real mayonnaise and 2 1/2 cups Bisquick, adding Bisquick little at a time with electric mixer medium speed and work in last cupful with spoon to soft dough. Dip hands in bit of Bisquick & shape dough into 8 patties each 1 " thick, placing close together in Pam-sprayed 9-10" Pyrex baking dish. Wipe tops each in bit of melted butter & bake 400°F 25 min or till golden brown. Immediately wipe tops in bit of butter again.

Makes 8. Note: these freeze well.
